The SCSI Toolbox – SAS Explorer

Are you working with SAS yet? If so, you know that it can be challenging to check if you have your HBA’s, Expanders, and drives connected the way that you think you do. To help view SAS devices and topology we have developed the SAS Explorer – an application that allows you to see your SAS setup in a graphical view where you can click on any device to see its SAS characteristics, parameters, connects, etc. You can see some example screenshots here: Expired URL. For information on getting a copy of the SAS Explorer contact Jeremy at 720.249.2641 or Contact Sales.

Introducing the Virtual Training Center

Check out our new Virtual Training – Movies that walk you through various real-world situations with the SCSItoolbox Suite. http://www.stbsuite.com/support/virtual-training-center/ Need to know how to change blocksize on lots of drives? Or how to get started writing Visual Basic tests using DTB? These and many more are covered in the Virtual Training Center – with more examples and illustrations being added weekly. BTW, if you have a particular question that you’d like us to cover please let us know and we’ll add it in.

Ask Dr. SCSI – Dr. SCSI’s favorite question…

The real Dr. SCSIQ. “Will you add a test or function that will…?”

A. “Yes we will!”

We are always on the lookout for ways that we can improve our products to make your job easier and to make you more efficient. The majority of the improvements that are added to our quarterly Performa updates come from customers asking us “could you add this”.

To give you an opportunity to make Doc SCSI’s Day, we’ve got our simplest survey to date below – just one little question – “what can we do to improve the SCSItoolbox Suite for you?”

So, as Clint once said, “Make my day” (and be entered into a drawing for our coolest give-away ever!)

November Survey for another chance to Win!

For another chance to win take our November Survey, to win this very cool LINKSYS Network Storage Link for USB 2.0 Disk Drives, Model NSLU2. Tell us what you’d like added/changed in the SCSItoolbox Suite and be entered in a drawing for a complete Network Fileserver computer! A server smaller than a paperback book! A server so tiny and cool that all of the units we brought in to evaluate got lost! By lost, I mean they got snagged and taken home by our geek-type programmers who think little tiny hackable Linux fileservers are the coolest toy yet!

By receiving this email you are qualified to participate in this survey, follow the link below or copy and paste the URL into your browser.
