What happens if I have lost or had my hardware key (dongle) stolen? Can SCSI Toolbox just sent me a new key, or can I buy just the hardware key?

The license IS the hardware key, and will not be replaced for loss of theft. What you will need to do is file a claim with your insurance company and report the loss of theft. They will then reimburse you for another purchase of the license, and subsequent hardware key.

If the HWK is broken and your Performa coverage is current your key will be replaced at no additional charge. If your Performa coverage is not current the key will be replaced at a charge of $150.00 plus shipping. Please contact support to have the HWK diagnosed and replaced. (Your broken or defective key will need to be returned to STB)
